22 ensuite bedrooms – normally 44 people – but can go up to 54 adults plus 4 children’s beds if all the beds are utilized
Guaranteed Dining Numbers
This is one of our unique characteristics – we are flexible. Looking for a venue for less than 130 people but can’t find one? Then you’re in luck – because if it’s a peak Friday or Saturday you’re after, then our minimum guaranteed numbers are only 75 people. The guaranteed numbers vary by the month, day and year – so email us for details. And what’s better still, you have until two weeks before your wedding to confirm your numbers to us.

Kinsale may be small and perfectly formed – but it has a host of local wedding suppliers on your doorstep. We have a Wedding Suppliers Directory that we give all our couples once they book with us, and it covers our ‘little black book’ of reliable suppliers who are ready to deliver your specific needs including
- Makeup artists, hairstylists and manicurists
- Wedding Stylists
- Florists
- Cake designers
- Photographers
- Videographers
- Transfers and limousine hire
- And Church and legal requirements including contacts for Catholic priests, ministers, humanists, registrar or non-denominational approved solemnisers
Music Consultation
You can also ask us for a Music Consultation and we will help you find the perfect combination of various music styles to suit any part of your stay with us. These range from a 2-piece cocktail band, traditional Ceili bands, string quartets, 4 piece dance bands, 6 piece soul bands, rat-pack, salsa, gypsy music and many more
Inhouse Event Stylist
We work with an extremely creative local designer who can help make your vision (or even if it’s just jumbled group of thoughts) a reality. We can setup a meeting with Stuart during your planning meeting and show you what can be achieved. From there he will prepare mood boards, suggestions, work plan and a quotation for you – and work with you to implement your vision
Wedding Guide Prices
Ballinacurra House is an exclusive use venue which means we customize your wedding to match what you want. And you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that all of this and full exclusive use of the whole property is priced at around the same as a standard 4 star hotel. The Exclusive Rental means your guest’s overnight accommodation starts at €95 per person per night (seasonal variations) including breakfast, parking, wifi and a whole lot more.
Since we don’t do packages, it is difficult to tell you how much your wedding with cost as it depends on a lot of different factors. But if you ask us for an ‘average Wedding day’ cost for your food and drinks, then you should allow from €110+ per person.
So email us your Wedding Enquiry with your requirements and we will send you our Wedding Brochure, Pricelist, FAQs, Wedding Menus, Wine Lists etc. Then we can arrange a visit (or we can do a Skype viewing) so you can see how amazing your Wedding at Ballinacurra could be.
After that we are happy to prepare a no-obligation detailed Wedding Budget based on your brief to us. So please don’t be shy to discuss your budget – every couple has one!
And rest assured that any costs will be fully agreed and signed off by you in advance and throughout the planning process as you can change anything up until two weeks before your wedding.
