The Devil is in the detail!

We are firm believers that attention to detail is what makes a real difference when it comes to planning a wedding. At Ballinacurra, the attention to detail does not stop at just the planning stage though. In each of our themed bedrooms, a lot of time and effort has been spent to ensure that every single detail is just right. Every piece of furniture and accessory in the room has been selected to to suit the design of that particular room.

When a client books Ballinacurra they get to decide what rooms they would like to assign to their guests. Each and every room is themed to a country which makes it a lot of fun for guests. In fact, we often find that when guests check in, they are abuzz with excitement to see each others rooms. Whether it the Australia room, Africa room, France, Italy, each one has its own unique style. It is not uncommon to find guests giving each other a tour of their rooms. This definately adds to the mood and atmosphere on arrival and elevates the guest experience. Even acts as a little ice breaker for guests that don’t know each other too well.

To give you a little sneak peak into our exclusive property, we are taking a look at one of our most popular bedroom suites – The Tudor room.

It also features some of the original artwork of John Danford, the eccentric Bristish artist who lived in Ballinacurra House for some time.  There is ample evidence of his immense talents in each room in the East Wing, especially in the large ground floor room known as the Ballroom.
