From London with Love
Bride and groom, Vicky & Stacey both work in the creative industry – Stacey is a CGI artist for an advertising agency in London and Vicky is a graphic designer and also designs wedding and event stationary. With that much creativity between them, we just knew this wedding would be magical…… and that exactly what it was!
They both knew they wanted to get married somewhere a little different, away from their usual surroundings.
With family being all over the world, it didn’t really matter where they had their wedding as people would have to travel no matter what! Places like Italy and France have a lot of restrictions in getting married legally without firstly going to a registry office in the UK, which they didn’t want to do.
With both being half Irish and having family in Ireland, it quickly became their favourable choice – and even better in Ireland they could get married with a humanist legally, which wasn’t an option in the UK.
Ballinacurra was the first place they came across when looking and it was also the last! Both of them fell in love with everything about it. They even booked it before flying over to see it. (We get that a lot!!)
They describe their day as being perfect, which for us is always nice to hear
“The whole day from start to finish was so perfect. The team knew all of the guests names and knew each and every one’s dietary requirements!” explains Vicky.
Everyone commented on how laid back everything was – that was something very important to us. The venue itself is so beautiful, we didn’t need to fill it with decorations or flowers, it’s stunning as it is. Mary and the team were brilliant from start to finish with everything we wanted” added Stacey.
The brides stunning dress was designed by herself and made by her mother in law. Vicky also made the bridesmaids dresses herself! It doesnt get much more creative that that!
We wish this wonderful couple and very happy life together, wherever it may take them next.
